|  TEAMS, is convinced
that this is a more efficient method by which to build
residential housing. A better house, at a competitive price,
would face an insatiable demand both nationally and abroad. On a
price-competitive basis, TEAMS homes will be the best,
				energy-efficient, residential structures available today,
incorporating TEAMS’ proprietary products. A team produces a
product that includes the proprietary building products together
with the ancillary support services.   The TEAMS product is a
pre-engineered package (Walls, roof and floor), essentially the
outer construction of a house, from floor to the peak of the
roof. The product is comprised of steel studs; steel roof
trusses, and expanded polystyrene insulation. Rigid expanded
polystyrene is cut to fit around the studs and roof trusses,
leaving no voids. Using these materials, TEAMS offers the best
means of building a highly energy efficient, environmentally
friendly, structurally sound, single-family / multiple family
residential product. The TEAMS product is appropriate to all
climates and provides a significantly enhanced ability for the
homebuyer to control indoor air quality and comfort levels.   Competition
				  Traditional Brick &
Mortar, Wood framed, steel framed and factory built homes
represent TEAMS’ competition. Including the polystyrene
insulation standard in the TEAMS home, the TEAMS house is price
competitive and less costly than other system built homes. The
energy efficient, environmentally friendly, green, structurally
sound, easy to erect, non-toxic, non-allergenic structure has
therefore, obvious marketing advantages over the competition.   Competitive
				Materials  In the process of
developing its modular building system, TEAMS has conducted
ongoing research into building systems. The principle materials
used in the construction industry today are:               Wood             Engineered
				Wood Products             Polystyrene             Polyurethane             Polyvinyl
Chloride (PVC)             Steel             Aluminum             Concrete   One of the materials
selected for use by TEAMS is steel, for its structural strength,
dimensional stability, ease of mass production of components,
price competitiveness, stability, and the fact it can be
recycled. The primary drawback to steel, with its thermal
bridging (e.g., car radiator effect of dissipating heat), has
been overcome by the encapsulation of the structural steel
exterior with expanded polystyrene insulation. Expanded
polystyrene insulation is a very effective insulator (thermal,
moisture and noise), dimensionally stable, and components made
of it can be mass-produced.   In setting its design
parameters, TEAMS determined that the house must be:
				1.
				AN EXTREMELY ENERGY-EFFICIENT MODEL
				2.
				SAFE FROM TOXIC ELEMENTS
				3.
				SEISMICALLY SAFE
				4.
				COMFORTABLE TO LIVE IN
				5.
				OF HIGH QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
				6.
LOW IN MAINTENANCE   Now that we have your
attention, Let us not fool ourselves. We will never in my
lifetime or yours be able to fulfill the entire housing needs,
but we can help to close the ever-increasing gap and increase
the level of human comfort that would be beneficial to your
requirements and the peoples needs. We now recommend you give us
a call to see the video footage of our patented home
brewed innovation of rapid house erection methodology,
which impressed the Minister of housing and hope you as well
				irrespective of our viewpoints.
				 We know there will
always never be enough funds for any project but we assure you
that within the emergency housing plan budget, with our transit
camp house (built in four days) type we’ll get the shack
mentality of our people radically reduced with astronomical
spin-offs for the nation that will make you, the implementer
				look like the president.
				 We are currently
negotiating costing, which we believe could reduce building cost
up to half the price of normal building cost per m² for quality
affordable housing. Machine implementation will be form part of
our robust automated infrastructure placing delivery of packaged
units, subject to material availability 24/7.
				Do not hesitate to
give us a call to view the Proto-type Housing Unit in Pelican
Heights. I trust to hear from you soon for further enlightenment
hereof and to conclude amicable and fruitful conclusions. |
